Ica (they/he) dyslexic designer/puppeteer/performance maker with a good sense of hummus. His work and collaborations often focus on Queer, neurodivergent, and disabled, experiences using puppetry, installation, performance, site-specific and outreach work.
In 2022 he collaborated with Indiana Lown-Collins, this year’s winner of the JMK Award on a production of The Solid Life of Sugar Water written by Jack Thorne at the Orange Tree Theatre. Ica is part of the 2021-2022 Western Jerwood Creative Bursaries cohort as Design Assistant with Wildworks creating landscape, community and site-specific work across the UK.
Ica studied Theatre Design BA at Nottingham Trent University (First).
Their design work was selected to be exhibited at New Designers and Bargehouse exhibitions in 2018 and Awarded the Chartered Society Of Designers Award. In 2022 They exhibited work at Plenhum Gallery, Poland part of The Fish Factory Arts 13 Exhibition.
